Notes & Explanation:
Material:
All parts are produced from special medical-purpose
materials on high-precision machines. The quality
of our products fulfils the highest standards requested
in this field. The final inspection of our products
is 100%, and our test conditions are much harder and
demanding than during the employment of the products
in practice.
Balls:

Si3N4 Ceramic balls or stainless steel balls
Ceramic balls: (20% harder than conventional bearings
with steel balls, 50% the weight of the steel equivalent,
frictional wear between the bearings and bearing retainers
is significantly reduced, Noise is very low.)
SR144TL = (with steel balls)
SR144TL N = (with ceramic balls)
Retainers
(Cages)
Retainer also known as bearing
cages.
TBP dental bearings use Torlon 4301 PAI, or Phenolic
or Polyimide.
Torlon Retainers
Torlon PAI (Bearing Grade) offers a very low expansion
rate, low coefficient of friction and exhibits little
or no slip-stick in use. This grade excels in severe
service wear applications such as non-lubricated bearings,
seals, bearing cages (bearing retainers) and in high
temperature environments.
Phenolic Retainers
They are used for retainer cages for steel ball bearings
especially when exposed to high-humidity environments.
The phenolic does well in where lubricant is scarce
as it has a wicking effect to retain and attract lubricants
when present.
Polyimide Retainers
Ease of machining and less prone to developing swears
during small diameter drilling operations make it
a good choice for retainers used in ball bearings.
They are many proprietary grades and variations of
polyimide available today.

D/G Deep Groove Ball Bearings, Radial Bearings (This
is standard Type)
A/C: Angular Contact Ball Bearings
ABEC-7 Precision Grade: P4, ABEC 7P (=JIS4), used
for high speed dental handpiece

outer ring, or named 9Cr18Mo
SR144 (S=Stainless Steel)
SFR144TLGZW (G=a unique groove in outer ring)
Shields SR144 (=without shield)
SR144Z (Z=with one shield)
SFR144TLGZ1W (Z1=Shield & Outer ring is combined,
also known as integral shield )
Golden Shield is available!
Grooved: means Stepped, with step in outer ring.
Smooth: The outher ring is Plain, straight
P5: Precision Grade: ABEC 5, ABEC 5P, used for low
speed dental handpiece
